San Fran garage rockers, Thee Oh Sees, just put out a video for I Need Seed. It will be included on their upcoming double-LP Castlemania, due June 14th on In The Red Records. And apparently their are rumors of another album coming out this fall!

The album drops just ahead of their April 9th show at Record Bar in KC as part of Middle of the Map Fest. Check out the free track Forget That You're Young.

Clouded

Cleveland's Dylan Baldi, the 18 year old behind the pop outfit Cloud Nothings is set to release his self titled debut LP on Carpark Records on January 25th. Check out Consequence of Sound for tour dates and info on an upcoming split with lablemates Toro y Moi. 

Make sure to see them at Riot Room in KC on April 1st, with Toro y Moi. Watch the new video for Should Have below.

Spaghetti Western

Chi-town rockers, Smith Westerns, just put out a video for their first single off the upcoming album Dye It Blonde, set to be released 1/18/2011 on Fat Possum Records. Weekend is a bit more poppy and less noisy than what can be found on their 2009 self titled LP, but it works well, just in different ways. Peep the vid below.

Also, make sure to check out my two favorite tracks from their last album, which I'm extremely fond of. Be My Girl and My Heart are both noisy, aural perfection.
